GOOSEBUMPS

The Goosebumps title sequence was filmed in-camera, using straws to blow ink on paper.

I was not on set, but the post-production process was still crucial.

In AE, we crushed the whites, placed the ink on new paper textures in 3D space and animated the camera. So the majority of the textures, camera movement, depth of field, etc. was achieved digitally.

Furthermore, we time remapped and stitched multiple takes of the letterforms together, comping them into singular inked characters.
